TryPan Blue Solution is a bluish grey liquid azo dyes which belongs to the class of the organic compounds consisting of a functional group R-N=N-R. Its chemical formula is C34H24N6Na4O14S4 with a molecular weight of 872.88 grams per mol. This compound is incompatible with strong oxidising agents when it came in contact with such chemicals. TryPan Blue Solution is an organosulfonate salt with a potential of hydrogen value in between 7.2 -7.8 which make it slight basic in nature. It is used to distinguish between live and dead cells in cytotoxicity. It has good shelf life of almost 4 years if it is stored at a specified storing temperatures in between 15 to 30 degree Celsius.
