Lensometer

Lensometer is a measuring device which is also known as focimeter which is mainly used by the opticians to verify the correct prescription in a pair of eyeglasses and for the correct orientation and mounting of lenses in spectacle frames. It is a combination of various precise components such as eyepiece, prism compensating device knob, knurled sleeve, lens holder, ink pad, spectacle table lever, power drum, locking lever, on-off switch and many more for the proper functioning of the device. Lensometer facilitates the user to determine the sphere, cylinder, axis, and prism present in each lens and to check the accuracy of progressive lenses.
